Grayson had a great game today! He was named the MVP and received the Game Ball. He had 3 hits, 2 singles and 1 triple, he made 2 runs and 1 RBI! Yeah Phillies!!

Jeff finally spent his gift card a client gave him at Christmas to Bass Pro Shop! He came home with this awesome tent! We were all set to sleep in the backyard but the wind was too fierce! We opted for the LIVING ROOM! We emptied out all the furniture and set up camp!! I am a little scared what having a tent might mean!!! I have never been a very good camper! I threw up every night at girls camp when I was a teenager. But I loved it and still went every year!!

Story Book Character Day, or NOT!

Today was Story Book Character day at the kids school. Well, at least we thought it was! Hannah helped Marisa pull together an Eloise costume, while she went as Fancy Nancy, Grayson dressed as Dwight D. Eisenhower. As we were pulling up to the school we noticed that no one else was dressed up. Hannah quickly disrobed, Grayson stuffed his helmet into his backpack and Marisa . . . went as Eloise. It could have been worse, like bad hair day or something. Story Book Character Day is next Friday! I guess we will be ready! Imagine that being ready before bed time the night before! The things these kids come up with to get out of going to bed!!!

Happy St. Patrick's day! Hope your wearing green or you might get pinched! Believe me they are into it! Some how our milk turned green!! My kids are hoping to catch a leprechaun! Here is a picture of their trap! I am making corned beef and cabbage for dinner! Hope it is good, I've never made it before! Marisa was upset yesterday when I told her she needed to wear a green shirt to school tomorrow. She said, "There's no school, it is St Patrick's day!" If only that were the case!

We've got an announcement to make!!!

Meet Archie! He is the newest member of the Boyce family!! Archie is a Whippet! He is two months old. Jeff has been researching and researching what kind of dog he wanted and this is what he came up with. We still have Eugene our miniature dachshund he is almost 11 years old. So far they seem to get along. Archie has a bit too much energy for Gene! Archie loves to play and nibble on Gene's ears. I can just hear Gene saying "Get outa here kid!" Archie likes to get snuggely! I can't believe we have 2 dogs!! I got lamps, Jeff got a dog!

D.A.R.E. Graduation!

Today was D.A.R.E. graduation for the fifth graders at Bartlett! The pictures are of Hannah and Mrs. Hwan her home room teacher, and her little girl friends the GUAKS! Hannah, Vanessa, Julia, and Sarah. D.A.R.E. is an ten week program teaching kids about drugs and how to say no! I hope Hannah got it!!!
