Have you heard of Chick & Benny's? It was a little local restaurant that served chicken and beignets! After traveling to Disney Land and visiting The Louisiana Kitchen at Downtown Disney, we were dying for some fresh Beignets! Well we found them at Chick & Benny's however the honeymoon didn't last long! Chick & Benny's went out of business! The restaurant sat empty for months and then one day we notice it was getting a make over and a new business was taking over. Jeff loved the Chick & Benny signs, a guy with a chicken on his head! So as the transformation was taking place he began wondering what they were going to do with the old signs? We kept a close eye. One day they were up the next day they were not and a new sign appeared in its place. We went straight to the dumpster and guess what we found two awesome Chick & Benny signs! Jeff brought them home and refurbished them patching the tape where it had been weathered and then found a spot for them in our Garage!! Can't help but smile when ever I look at them!
