For our last concert of the season we were joined by a mix of Greenspun Jr. High women singers. Yes, Hannah was one of them! We sang a beautiful peace by John Rutter. Mr. Rutter's grown son died at the age of 19 and Rutter quit writing music for two years. "The Mass of the Children" was his first work following the great loss of his son. It is a wonderful arrangement for children, main chorus and orchestra. The lyrics are mix of Latin and English. It was so fun to learn and preform. It was even more fun having Hannah and her choir join us for this wonderful event!
