Tonsil less

Say goodbye to strep throat!!! Hannah had her tonsils and adenoids out in Feb. She was such a good sport. Of course it meant lots of ice cream so how bad could it be? The Doctor said usually he just has to scrape them a little and they come out but because she has had so many infections there was a lot of scar tissue and he had to dig to get at them. The recovery was long. She missed six days of school and had to sit out of P.E. for two weeks after surgery. The younger you are the better for this surgery. She is back at everything and glad to have that experience over with. She has good friends and Auntie Kim who brought her slushies and care packages. We are glad she is feeling good and won't be as susceptible to ear and throat infections.
